Lidia Yuknavitch is the author of the memoir The Chronology of Water, as well as a forthcoming novel, Dora: A Headcase, and three books of short stories: Her Other Mouths, Liberty's Excess, and Real to Reel. She teaches literature, writing, women's studies and film in Oregon, and is the editrix of chiasmus press. She lives with the filmmaker Andy Mingo and their renaissance man son, Miles.
